Detailed Overview Of Diabetes Panel 2 Sub-Profile

  • HBA1C Test. It is also called Hemoglobin A1C or Glycated hemoglobin test. This test determines the average level of blood sugar and whether it is normal, low or high. The normal range level is less than or equal to 5.6%. The range of 5.7 to 6.4% means you may have a higher chance of diabetes. The levels of 6.5% or higher mean you have diabetes. This test checks the average sugar level in your blood over the past 2 to 3 months, not daily ups and downs.
  • Complete Hemogram Profile. This profile is also known as CBC or complete blood count. It consists of 24 essential test parameters to check and diagnose the overall health status. Some of the important parameters such as Eosinophils, Basophils, Total Leucocytes Count, Hematocrit, Platelet Count, Monocytes, Neutrophils, RBC and many more.
  • Lipid Profile. It is known as cholesterol profile, and this test determines the total cholesterol level, HDL & LDL Cholesterol level, Triglycerides, VLDL Cholesterol level and many more. The symptoms may come in the form of heart disease. This test requires 10 to 12 hours of fasting before the test. In fasting, you can take water only.
